Thank you for considering Reel Hooked Up Fishing Charters. I am Captain Tony Yonko, and I have a passion for fishing. It all started with my dad at about age 3, catching panfish on ultralight tackle with bobbers. As a kid growing up by the lake in Erie, PA, there is no better outdoor fishing experience. Over the years, my interest in fishing only grew stronger. I fished every weekend with a local Doctor during my summers home from college in the late 80’s and gained exposure to fishing offshore for walleye and steelhead.

After graduating from college and working in Pittsburgh, PA, for almost 10 years, in 2000, my wife and I had the opportunity to relocate back to Erie. In 2001, I purchased a 19ft Sea Nymph aluminum boat with my dad, and we began perch fishing and drifting for walleye. Over the years, I added some rod holders, downriggers, and planer boards. We began trolling for walleye, lake trout, and steelhead.

In 2017, I sold the Sea Nymph and was blessed to be able to purchase a 2009 one-owner, immaculate 23’ Parker Pilot House fishing machine. It is rigged with everything needed to fish offshore on Lake Erie. I have had an incredible time, fun fishing on the Parker with family and friends, and gaining trolling experience and knowledge. In addition, I have been working as a first mate for the last 4 years for a few awesome charter captain friends, and decided it was time to pursue my charter license to offer trips on the Parker.

​I thoroughly enjoy taking kids fishing. My daughter grew up fishing with me on the boats, and I have several nieces and nephews who have fished with me many times. It is so rewarding to see them grow their skills of what to do on the boat and their never-ending excitement in catching fish.

Thank you for considering Reel Hooked Up Fishing Charters. I am Victoria Yonko, Captain Tony's daughter. I grew up fishing with my dad and always enjoyed going out on the boat (except for the early mornings).

I'm not the biggest fan of getting up early and touching live bait and fish, so my role is more off the water handling social media, our website, and booking and inquiries.

I really enjoy my 2 dogs, Jackie and Rilla, who are also big fans of going for boat rides and have quickly become boat doggos.
